Drawing exchance is an art project between the two artists Ridley (Brisbane) Zuzakova (Zurich).
Mandy Ridley and Katrin Zuzakova met in India during seperat residencies in 2005. Both artists have carried their indian experience forward to shape the evolution of their art practice. Now 13 years later they have begun a drawing exchange based on their shared and individual indian experiences and worldview. The drawing style of each is very different, Zuzakova works quickli and expressively using her personal iconography. Ridley takes direct inspiration from patterns observed in her environment with a clean linear graphic style. The forms of the natural environment fascinate both. The Dialog between the artists is ongoing and will result in a body of work for exhibition.
